Tá brón orm cloisteáil faoi bhás Kevin Hannaway. Comhbhrón ó chroí libh ag an am deacair seo. Fear cróga agus dílis ab ea Kevin, a sheas go misniúil mar Poblachtánach Éireannach ar feadh a shaoil. Go dtuga sé inspioráid dúinn uile agus go raibh suaimhneas síoraí dá anam dílis. Rip from your friends in cork

One of the most courageous and dedicated Republicans I have ever met. He came to Clonard as a young boy and lived in Cawnpore Street just behind me in Clonard Gardens. In birthdays we were separated by 2 days only. His death has stunned me I have to say as I have known him 60+ years. I wish to extend sincere condolences to his family from my family (Haddock, Clonard Gardens) you are all in my prayers. God bless him. Oh son of Ireland bade farewell to thee 🇮🇪
