Gallagher John (Martin), passed peacefully at hospital surrounded by his loving family 7th January 2022. Beloved husband of Theresa, a loving father of Johnny, much loved father-in-law of Nora, a devoted grandfather to Emmett R.I.P. Johns remains will leave his late home 61 Monagh Road on Thursday at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in Holy Trinity Church followed by burial in City Cemetery. John was such a lovely man, a devoted husband of my sister Theresa and a loving father to his son Johnny. It was always a pleasure to be in his company, he always made you feel at home......resulting in that you wanted to stay even longer. He often had a lovely cheeky grin on his face and was always good for a laugh.... his "now I'm going to tell ya somethin' big lad" always got me interested and ready for one of his little stories. He was really nice to be around and never had a bad word to say about anybody. I always really looked forward to meeting him on my trips to Ireland from Germany....he made you feel at home, a part of the big family, as if you'd never left. I will miss him dearly and look forward to meeting him again someday in the far future....... then I'm sure he'll make me laugh again. God bless you John Gallagher
